Man Struck with Shotgun on Greenmount

The attack was reportedly unprovoked.

A man was struck in the head with a shotgun while walking on Greenmount Avenue.

According to Baltimore police, between 3 and 3:20 a.m., on May 6, a man was walking in the 3900 block of Greenmount Avenue when he was struck on the side of the head with a shotgun.

The assailant made no demands before he hit the man with the gun.

The man was taken to Union Memorial Hospital where a cut on his head was treated and the crime lab took pictures of the injuries.
