Mt. Washington Home Burns Overnight

The Baltimore Fire Department responded to the blaze in the 2200 block of South Road.

A Mt. Washington home caught fire on Monday night, but no one was injured in the blaze.

A single alarm fire was reported at about 10:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Road.

Ian Brennan, a spokesman for the Baltimore Fire Department, said in an email that it was declared a working fire shortly after units arrived at the scene.

All of the residents were safely evacuated from the house without injury, and Neighborhood Services are working with the residents to find housing according to Brennan.
