North Baltimore Crime: $50 Stolen from Emergency Room Patient

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Charles Village

Burglary Commercial: unit block of W. 25th ½ Street, 6 a.m., Oct. 23.  The front glass door was broke and an unidentified object was stolen.

Larceny Other: 200 block of E. University Parkway, 1:55 p.m., Oct. 23. Thieves took $50 from a woman while she was in the Emergency Room at Union Memorial Hospital, but were arrested and the money recovered.

Larceny Shoplifting: 3200 block of St. Paul Street, 2:35 p.m., Oct. 24. A thief stole an iPhone 5 and ran from the Verizon Wireless store.

Hampden

Stolen Auto: 900 block of Harding Place, 1:50 a.m., Oct. 21. A 2007 Chevy Silverado was stolen.

Harwood

Larceny Bicycle: 300 block of Whitridge Avenue, between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., Oct. 22. A Jamis bike was stolen from the front porch.

Homeland

Larceny from Auto: 300 block of Thornhill Road, between midnight and 1 a.m., Oct. 21. A wallet containing personal items was stolen from a gray 2005 Acura TL.

Loyola/Notre Dame

Larceny Other: 4500 block of N. Charles Street, between 5:15 and 10 p.m., Oct. 21. A Bank of America card, bottle of Oxycodone (80 pills) and $50 were stolen from a woman’s purse while she was working.

Mt. Washington

Larceny Bicycle: 2400 block of Brambleton Road, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Oct. 21. A dark green men’s bicycle was stolen from the front yard.

Burglary Commercial: 2500 block of W. Northern Parkway, between 8:20 and 8:46 a.m., Oct. 22. A burglar entered through a rear door of the Win Family Services and stole a wireless router.

Remington

Larceny Other: 3100 block of Wyman Park Drive, 5:30 p.m., Oct. 22. An iPhone 4 was taken from a counter when it was left unattended.

Rosebank

Larceny from Auto: 400 block E. Northern Parkway, 1:55 a.m., Oct. 23. The window of a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria was broken and $600 and rear brakes were stolen from the car.

Waverly

Larceny Shoplifting: 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue, 11:30 a.m., Oct. 24. A thief came in and stole a brown leather jacket and ran out of Nifty Cleaners.

Woodberry

Larceny from Auto: 3500 block of Balmar Mews, 1:30 a.m., Oct. 22. A pair of Gucci sunglasses was stolen from a 2011 Acura MDS.

So this can more or less be summed up as "unattended belongings were stolen".
