North Baltimore Crime: Apartment Building's Security Cameras Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen Auto: 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue, 8:45 p.m., April 4. A gray 2007 Honda Accord with Maryland tags was stolen.

Attempted Burglary Residential: 3000 block of Guilford Avenue, 11:23 a.m., April 5. A burglar broke a rear glass in an attempt to get into the residence, but failed. A warrant has been obtained for the burglar.

Belvedere

Larceny: 500 block of Belvedere Avenue, between 3 and 8:30 p.m., April 2. A Visa card was stolen from a woman’s purse at her place of employment.

Better Waverly

Larceny Shoplifting: 2813 Greenmount Ave., 5:30 p.m., March 31. A shoplifter attempted to steal various food items from the Family Dollar, but was arrested.

Larceny Shoplifting: 2813 Greenmount Ave., 8:20 p.m., March 31. A shoplifter tried to steal two bottles of detergent from the Family Dollar, but was arrested.

Larceny Shoplifting: 2813 Greenmount Ave., 1:40 p.m., March 31. A shoplifter tried to steal various food items, but was caught and issued a citation.

Charles Village

Burglary Commercial: 3113 St. Paul St., between 4:09 and 6:55 a.m., April 4. A burglar broke in through a side window with a brick and entered the Freshii restaurant.  The alarm went off and the burglar ran out through the back door.

Stolen Auto: 2500 block of N. Calvert Street, between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., April 6. A black 1994 Mercedes with Delaware tags was stolen.

Hampden

Burglary Residential: 3400 block of Hickory Avenue, between noon and 4 p.m., April 2. A burglar forced open a front door and stole keys; cellphone; jewelry and a camera.   

Larceny from Auto: 1300 W. 40th Street, between 9:30 p.m., April 4 and 9 a.m., April 5. The window of a 2012 Chevy was broken and an iPod and Garmin GPS were stolen.

Attempted Burglary Residential: 1400 block of W. 36th Street, between 9 and 11:20 p.m., April 5. A burglar broke a rear glass door in an attempt to break-in.

Harwood

Stolen Auto: 400 block of E. Lorraine Avenue, 3:15 p.m., April 2. A black 2011 Land Rover LR3 was stolen after the keys were left in the ignition.

Keswick

Larceny from Auto: 4400 block of Wickford Road, 1 p.m., April 3. A bag; keys; drivers’ license; Social Security Card; debit cards and cash were stolen from an unlocked 2007 Toyota.  

Lake Walker

Larceny Shoplifting: 6301 York Road, 8:38 p.m., April 5. A shoplifter stole Gold Bond powder from Walgreens and ran west toward Schwartz Avenue.

Larceny Shoplifting: 6301 York Road, 5:45 p.m., April 6. A shoplifter tried to steal underwear, shampoo and conditioner from Walgreens. The shoplifter was issued a citation.

Medfield

Burglary Residential: 4400 block of LaPlata Avenue, between 7:45 and 11:50 a.m., April 4. A burglar pried open a rear window and stole a television; laptop; watches; perfume and vodka. 

Mid-Govans 

Larceny: 600 block of Woodbourne Avenue, between 7 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., April 1. A television, Xbox and games were stolen from a man’s room. 

Pen Lucy

Larceny: 600 block of Wyanoke Avenue, between 3:56 p.m., April 3 and 8 a.m., April 4. Three security cameras, mounted on the outside of the building, were stolen.

Roland Park

Stolen Auto: 4200 block of Roland Avenue, between 7 and 8 a.m., April 5. A silver 2004 Honda Accord with Maryland tags was stolen. The car was recovered in Hampden, 1300 block of Morling Avenue.  

Tuscany-Canterbury

Larceny from Auto: 4000 block Linkwood Road, between 10 p.m., April 4 and 8 a.m., April 5. The window of a 2012 Nissan was broken and a Garmin GPS was stolen.

Waverly

Recovered Stolen Auto: 500 block of E. 33rd Street, 3:45 p.m., April 3. A juvenile was arrested for stealing a 2001 Saturn.

Winston-Govans

Burglary Residential: 800 block of Winston Avenue, between 12:30 and 8:45 p.m., April 1. A burglar forced open a rear window, went through drawers and left without taking any property.

Wyman Park

Larceny: 3700 block of Tudor Arms Avenue, between noon, April 2 and 9:15 a.m., April 3.  A UPS package was stolen but a neighbor found it and returned the package.
