North Baltimore Crime: Bar Patrons Disarm Knife Wielding Man

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Aggravated Assault: 7 p.m., Feb. 18, 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. A man was in an argument at Kitty’s Lounge when he pulled out a knife. Customers disarmed the man but one patron was cut on the hand with a knife.

Larceny Shoplifting: 11:54 a.m., Feb. 23, 5800 block of York Road. A thief stole a computer from Staples.

Larceny Shoplifting: 3 p.m., Feb. 17, 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. A shoplifter took a Kit Kat bar from the Family Dollar and was issued a citation.

Larceny Shoplifting: 6:42 p.m., Feb. 17, 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. A shoplifter stole Let’s Jam Gel and was issued a citation.

Larceny Shoplifting: 1 p.m., Feb. 20, 600 block of Homestead St. A shoplifter stole two Craftsman drills from ACE Hardware. 

Larceny Other: 12:1`5 p.m., Feb. 19, 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. Shoplifter took outlining and ran out of Kines Beauty Shop.

Larceny Shoplifting: 5:48 p.m., Feb. 23, 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. A shoplifter was issued a citation for trying to steal coffee.

Cedarcroft

Burglary Residential: between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., Feb. 20, 400 block of Hollen Road. A burglar broke into a house and stole a Louis Vuitton bag and a Samsung phone.  

Charles Village

Robbery Unarmed: 7:15 p.m., Feb 17, 2600 block of Lovegrove St. A man was getting out his vehicle when a robber approached, pushed him up against a wall told him to empty his pockets. The robber ran off with the man’s wallet and ID.

Burglary Residential: between 2 a.m., Feb. 18, and 4 p.m., Feb. 23, 2600 block of Maryland Ave. A burglar forced out the glass of a rear door, ransacked the house and stole sunglasses and an Ottoman.

Larceny Other: between 10 and 11:30 a.m., Feb. 23, 2600 block of N. Charles St.  An HVAC unit was stolen from the back yard.  

Larceny Other: 1 a.m., Feb. 23, 2500 block of N. Howard St. A thief was arrested trying to steal three bottles of liquor from the Ottobar.

Guilford

Larceny from Auto: between 11 a.m. and 12:35 p.m., Feb. 17, 4100 block of Greenmount Ave. A laptop was stolen from a 2010 Mazda.

Hampden

Larceny Shoplifting: 7 a.m., Feb. 21, 900 block of W. 36th St. A shoplifter stole laundry detergent.

Harwood

Larceny from Auto: between 10:15 a.m. and 3 p.m., Feb. 17, 2500 block of Greenmount Ave. A coat and briefcase were stolen from the trunk of an unlocked 2010 Dodge.

Hoes Heights

Stolen Auto: between 9:30 p.m., Feb. 20 and 11 a.m., Feb. 21, 4300 block of Falls Road. A 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.

Oakenshawe

Attempted Stolen Auto: between 9 p.m., Feb. 21 and 7 a.m., Feb. 22, 200 block of Homewood Terrace. A thief attempted to steal a silver 2004 Honda Accord.

Larceny from Auto: between 5 p.m., Feb. 17, and 3:30 p.m., Feb. 22, 200 block of E. University Parkway. A Garmin GPS and charger were stolen after the window of a 1999 Mazda was pried open with a screwdriver. 

Larceny from Auto: between 1 and 3:15 p.m., Feb. 23, 3400 block of Guilford Terrace. The window of a 2008 Honda was busted out and an iPod and Netbook were stolen.

Remington

Burglary: between 4 and 5 p.m., Feb. 18, 2800 block of Miles Ave. A burglar entered through a rear door and stole a television and a laptop.

Roland Park

Larceny Other: noon, Feb. 21, 4000 block of Roland Ave. A wallet with ID, credit cards and $120 were stolen from a back storeroom. 

Waverly

Stolen Auto: between 8 p.m., Feb. 21, 11 a.m., Feb. 23, 500 block of E. 36th St. A white 2002 GMC Yukon was stolen.
