North Baltimore Crime: Man Beaten, Robbed in Charles VIllage

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny: 3200 block of St. Paul St., 9:10 a.m., April 23. A woman left her cell phone at Starbucks. When she returned to get it, the phone was gone.

Robbery Unarmed: 2500 block of N. Howard St., 1 a.m., April 26. A man was walking when robbers approached him and demanded money. He tried to run away but they caught him and began kicking and punching him. They took his wallet, cell phone and cash before running east on West 26th Street.

Larceny from Auto: 2600 block of Guilford Ave., between 6 and 11 p.m., April 27. Handwipes, $10 in coins and an umbrella was stolen from a car.

Burglary Residential: 200-block E. 31st St., between 9 p.m. April 26 an 11 a.m., April 27. A burglar attempted to break through the back glass door but failed.

Homeland

Larceny from Building: 100 block of Croydon Road, between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m., April 23. A copper drainpipe was stolen from the side of a house.

Burglary Residential: 300 block of Thornhill Road, between 12:10 and 1:25 p.m., April 27. A burglar smashed a rear glass door and stole electronics and jewelry. 

Oakenshawe

Larceny Shoplifting: 3300 block of Greenmount Ave., 11:05 a.m., April 23. A shoplifter stole an adult video from the Greenmount Book Store.

Larceny from Auto: 400 block of E. 33rd St., between 1 and 1:20 p.m., April 24. A black cosmetic bag with a diabetic kit was stolen from a tan 2012 Toyota SRS.

Mid-Govans

Robbery Armed: 5300 block of Ready Ave., 2:54 p.m., April 23. A black Lexus pulled up next to a man and a robber got out of the passenger side of the car with a handgun and took his wallet and cell phone.

Larceny from Auto: 5800 block of Halwyn Ave., between 10 p.m., April 22 and 4:55 p.m., April 24. A Garmin GPS and a handicap placard were stolen from a green 2000 Dodge Caravan.

Larceny from Auto: 500 block of Cording Ave., between 11 p.m., April 23 and 3:30 p.m., April 24. The window of a silver 2002 Honda Accord was broken and a GPS was stolen.

Harwood

Larceny from Auto: 300 block of E. 25th St., between 11 p.m., April 22 and 7 p.m., April 23. The rear license plate was stolen from a green 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Burglary Residential: 300 block of E. 27th St., between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., April 27. A burglar entered through the basement door and stole a television and DVD player. 

Hampden

Larceny Bicycle: 3400 block of Roland Ave., between 3 and 4:14 p.m., April 23. A Magna bike was stolen from the backyard.

Larceny: 800 block of W. 32nd St., between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., April 26. Three white cast iron radiators valued at $600 were stolen from the backyard.

Larceny Shoplifting: 1000 block of W. 41st St., 3:07 a.m., April 25. A man asked the clerk at the 7-Eleven for a carton of Newport Cigarettes. Once the clerk put the cigarettes on the counter, the man asked for a second item. When the clerk turned around to get the item the man grabbed the cigarettes and ran out of the store.

Larceny: 700 block of Pacific St., between 5:30 p.m., April 25 and 7 p.m., April 26. Two sections of aluminum down spout valued at $500 were stolen from the front of the house. 

Larceny from Auto: 1100 block W. 37th St., 12:30 a.m., April 27. A Garmin GPS, a cell phone charger and two CD cases were among the items stolen from a gray 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Larceny from Auto: 3600 block of Falls Road, 12:30 a.m., April 27. An unknown amount of money and various paperwork were stolen from a blue 2001 Jeep Wrangler. 

Larceny from Building: 1200 block of Union Ave., 3 p.m., April 27. A man went to the bathroom and his medicine was stolen from the room he rents.

Chinquapin Park-Belvedere

Larceny from Auto: 500 block E. Northern Parkway, between 1 and 2 p.m., April 24. A handicap placard was stolen from a blue 2008 Mercury Mariner.

Waverly

Attempted Stolen Auto: 500 block of E. 36th St., between 10 p.m., April 24 and 9:45 a.m., April 27. The steering column of silver 2006 Nissan Sentra was damaged.
