North Baltimore Crime: Man Wakes Up Being Stabbed

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny from Auto: 100 block East Melrose Avenue, between 9 p.m., July 9 and 3 p.m., July 10. A GPS system was stolen from a 2006 Mini Cooper with Massachusetts’s tags.

Larceny from Auto: 6300 block of York Road, between 9 and 11:30 a.m., July 11. A Casio Commando phone and HTC Incredible 4 phone were stolen from the Cellular Connection.

Stolen Auto: 100 block of West 25th Street, between 4 and 4:30 a.m., July 10. A 2008 Sheijang scooter was stolen.

Chinquapin Park-Belvedere

Larceny from Auto: 500 block of East Northern Parkway, between 10:30 and 11:15 p.m., July 11. A window was broken and an Igloo cooler was stolen from a 2007 Subaru Forrester.

Guilford

Burglary Shed: 200 block of Chancery Road, between 7 p.m., July 10 and 6 a.m., July 11. A Fuji bike valued at $450 and a Trek bike valued at $700 were stolen from the shed.

Attempted Burglary Residential: 3600 block of Greenway, between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m., July 12. A burglar tried to force open the front door.

Larceny from Auto: 3900 block of North Charles Street, 8:50 p.m., July 11 and 7:45 a.m., July 12. The window of a white 2000 Honda CRV was broken and a Garmin GPS was stolen.

Hampden

Attempted Larceny from Auto: 3100 block of Mill Road, between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., July 9. The window of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra was broken.

Kernewood

Aggravated Assault: 4700 block of York Road, at 6:41 p.m., July 8. A group of men were fighting when one of them was somehow cut on the right lower back with an unknown object.

Medfield

Recovered Stolen Auto: 1300 block of Weldon Avenue, at 8:30 a.m., July 9. A blue 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with Maryland tags was recovered.

Mt. Washington

Stolen Auto: 2800 block of Whitney Avenue, between 10:30 p.m., July 11 and 6 a.m., July 12. A purple 1995 Nissan 300 ZX with Maryland tags was stolen.

Larceny Bicycle: 2400 block of West Rogers Avenue, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., July 12. A Trek bike valued at $600 was taken from the bike rack of a vehicle.

Burglary Garage: 2400 block of Brambleton Road, between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., July 12. The burglar entered the garage through a side door and stole a men’s blue hybrid bike.    

Remington

Larceny from Building: 2600 block of Miles Avenue, between 5:25 and 6:25 p.m., July 12.  A resident reported $625 was stolen from his closet. The resident shares the home with multiple people and there were no signs of forced entry.

Richnor Springs

Larceny from Auto: 4800 block of York Road, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., July 9. The rear license plate was stolen from a 2003 Honda Civic.

Roland Park

Larceny: 400 block Hawthorne Road, between 9 p.m., July 10 and 7 a.m., July 11.  A man left his wallet at the location during a party. When he returned he found the wallet empty behind the sofa and his bankcard in the front yard.

Larceny: 200 block of Oakdale Road, between 9:15 a.m. and 4 p.m., July 12. Two copper downspouts were stolen from the home.

Waverly

Burglary Residential: 300 block of East 30th Street, between 9:10 a.m. and 6 p.m., July 9. A burglar broke into the home and stole loose change.

Larceny from Auto: 600 block of East 35th Street, between 12:30 and 9:15 a.m., July 8. An iPod, a Diamond ring and $22 were stolen from a green 1999 Volvo S70.

Wilson Park

Burglary Commercial: 4300 block of York Road, between 6 p.m., July 8 and 9:40 a.m., July 9. A burglar used a master key to enter the Public Storage and stole $1,976 in cash and $2,791 in checks.

Woodbourne-McCabe

Aggravated Assault: 5200 block of York Road, at 9:30 p.m., July 10. A man woke up to an assailant stabbing him. The assailant was taken into custody at the scene but was taken to Union Memorial Hospital for an unknown illness, and was under guard.

Stolen Auto: 5200 block of York Road, at 11:30 p.m., July 10. A blue 2001 Ford truck was stolen.

Larceny Shoplifting: 5300 block of York Road, at 12:30 p.m., July 10. A shoplifter tried to take $7.50 worth of boys’ socks and three lighters valued at $6, but was caught and arrested.
