North Baltimore Crime: Police Recover 2 Handguns

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny Shoplifting: 2800 block of Greenmount Avenue, 4 p.m., Oct. 15. A shoplifter tried to steal a pack of batteries and was arrested.

Larceny Shoplifting: 6300 block of York Road, 3:30 p.m., Oct. 14. A shoplifter entered the store and said he was just looking for something. When the clerk turned his back the shoplifter grabbed a Samsung Stratosphere phone and ran out of the store.

Larceny Other: 3200 block of St. Paul Street, 10:45 p.m., Oct. 14. A woman was walking when someone walked up behind her and grabber her white iPhone 4S and ran northbound on St. Paul Street.

Larceny from Auto: 2700 block of North Charles Street, between 5 and 5:15 p.m., Oct. 14. A wallet, $400, Magellan GPS and personal papers were stolen from a 2011 Dodge Nitro.  

Larceny from Auto: 2600 block of North Howard Street, between 9 a.m., and 3 p.m., Oct. 16. A fossil wallet was stolen from a car.

Larceny from Auto: 200 block of East 29th Street, between 9:30 amn 10 a.m., Oct. 16. A Garmin Nuvi GPS was stolen from a black 2003 Chevy Blazer.

Larceny from Auto: 200 block of East 29th Street, between 8 p.m., Oct. 16 and 10:45 a.m., Oct. 17. The widow of a 2006 Honda was broken and an iPod was stolen.

Guilford

Burglary Residential: 3900 block of St. Paul Street, between 11:20 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Oct. 16. A burglary forced open the rear door and stole a 13 inch RCA television, a 27 inch LG television, a HP laptop, Gateway laptop and Vio laptop. 

Hampden

Larceny from Auto: 1000 block of West 38th Street, between 7:30 p.m., Oct. 17, and 7 a.m., Oct. 18. A Nuvi GPS, jacket and CDs were stolen froma 2005 Dodge.

Harwood

Handgun Violation: 400 block of East Lorraine Avenue, 12:44 p.m., Oct. 14. A Heritage Rough Rider .22 caliber handgun, with live round and one case were recovered during a traffic stop. 

Homeland

Larceny Auto Accessory: 300 block of Woodbourne Avenue, between 7 p.m., Oct. 17 and 8:15 a.m., Oct. 18. A tire and rim were stolen off a 2003 Subraru.

Stolen Auto: 5400 block of St. Alban’s Way, between 8 and 9 a.m., Oct. 17. A red 1980 trailer was stolen.

Robbery Commercial Armed: 5400 York Road, 5:02 p.m., Oct. 19. An employee at Corky’s Liquor Store was arguing with a clerk about the amount of change she should receive after her purchase. She then began to take a case of beer and when the employee went to stop her she grabbed $50 from the cash register. She then pushed the employee and ran out of the store.  

Lake Evesham

Stolen Auto: 400 block of East Lake Avenue, 9:30 p.m., Oct. 18. An Orange 2011 Honda scotter and a silver 2011 Bashan scooter were stolen.  

Mid-Govans

Handgun Violations: 600 bock of Woodbourne Avenue, 5:10 a.m., Oct. 16. A Smith and Wesson P22 .22 caliber handgun was recovered after a suspect was arrested.

Roland Park

Recovered Stolen Auto: 100 block of Oakdale Road, 10:30 a.m., Oct. 15. A 1995 purple Dodge Intrepid was recovered.

Larcney from Auto: 4100 block of Roland Avenue, between noon, Oct. 17 and 1 a.m., Oct. 18. $50 was stolen from an unlocked 2009 Volkwagen. 

Wyman Park

Larceny from Auto: 3300 Beech Avenue, between 1:30 p.m., Oct. 17 and 9:15 a.m., Oct. 18. Coins were stolen from an unlocked 2007 Toyota.
