North Baltimore Crime: Shoplifter Steals 52 Deodorant Containers

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny Shoplifting: 1000 block of West 41st Street, 8:40 p.m., June 21. A shoplifter stole 52 containers of Degree deodorant valued at $260 from Rite Aid.

Stolen Auto: 800 block of Wellington Avenue, between 11 p.m., June 17 and 5:50 a.m., June 18. A gray scooter was stolen.

Larceny Shoplifting: 2700 block of Huntingdon Avenue, 11:45 p.m., June 17. Fireworks were stolen from the International Grocery.

Stolen Auto: 2700 block of Huntingdon Avenue, between 5 p.m., June 20 and 11 a.m., June 23. A black 2009 Honda scooter was stolen.

Larceny: 2900 block of Remington Avenue, 10:37 a.m., June 20. A recycling bin was stolen from Charm City Cakes.

Hampden

Stolen Auto: 3600 block of Elm Avenue, between 9 p.m., June 17 and 4 p.m., June 18. A 2007 Thompson moped was stolen.

Waverly

Larceny Shoplifting: 2800 block of Greenmount Avenue, 5 p.m., June 20. A shoplifter was arrested for stealing a cell phone, detergent, fruit drink and a Klondike bar.

Larceny Shoplifting: 3100 block of Greenmount Avenue, 5:20 p.m., June 19. A shoplifter was arrested for trying to steal a camera.

Larceny from Auto: 3200 block of Old York Road, between 11 p.m., June 20 and 12:20 a.m., June 21. A car entertainment console was stolen from a car with Pennsylvania plates.

Harwood

Robbery Unarmed: 2600 block of Greenmount Avenue, 1:45 a.m., June 17. A man was walking in the block when robbers, who took his wallet and jean jacket, attacked him.

Charles Village

Larceny from Building: 3200 block of North Charles Street, between 9 a.m. and 8:48 p.m., June 18.  A Dell laptop and charger were stolen.

Larceny: 3100 block of St. Paul Street, between 11:55 a.m. and 12:10 p.m., June 20. A laptop was stolen from an office.

Larceny from Building: 3400 block of North Charles Street, 6 a.m., June 21. A contractor was caught stealing 50 Johns Hopkins University t-shirts and four binders with the school’s emblem on them.

Larceny: 3200 block of St. Paul Street, 3:30 p.m., June 23. A thief grabbed a phone from a display at the Verizon Store and ran off.

Burglary Residential: 3200 block of North Charles Street, 4 p.m., June 23. A burglar was arrested after entering an unlocked home, and stealing sunglasses, a hand truck and laptop case.

Larceny from Auto: 2600 block of Maryland Avenue, between 9 p.m., June 20 and 9:30 a.m., June 21. Reading glasses and a black backpack were stolen from a car.

Lake Walker

Larceny from Auto: 700 block of Cedarcroft Road, between 6 p.m., June 19 and 9:04 a.m., June 20. A Wallet and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked 2008 Honda.

Mid-Govans

Aggravated Assault: 5400 block of York Road, 8:01 p.m., June 17. Two friends were in an argument when one of the men pulled out a razor and cut the other man on his chin.

Stolen Auto: 5600 block of York Road, noon, June 20. A blue 2012 Yamaha Zuma scooter was stolen.

Homeland

Larceny from Building: 300 block Taplow Road, 3:50 a.m., June 19. Copper downspouts were stolen from a home.

Winston-Govans

Robbery Armed: 700 block Winston Avenue, 9:25 p.m., June 17. A manw was waiting in his car when robbers with a handgun took his cell phone and Louis Vuitton wallet with his military ID.

Oakenshawe

Larceny from Auto: 3300 block of Barclay Street, between 8 a.m. and 4:50 p.m., June 19. The window of a 2005 Ford was broken and a handicap placard was stolen.

Woodberry

Recovered Stolen Auto: 2000 block of Rockrose Avenue, 11 p.m., June 20. A stolen gray 2006 Chrysler C-300 with Maryland tags was recovered.

Roland Park

Larceny from Auto: 4100 block of Roland Avenue, between 10 p.m., June 21 and 7:30 p.n., June 22. A satchel with a Social Security card and a passport were stolen from a green 2002 Mazda Miata.
