North Baltimore Crime: Tenant Attacks Landlord with Knife

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.


Larceny from Auto: 100 block of W. Melrose Avenue, between 4:50 and 5 p.n., Dec. 10. A purse, cellphone and $100 were stolen from a 2010 Toyota.

Charles Village

Aggravated Assault: 3000 block of St. Paul Street, 6:40 p.m., Dec. 13. A landlord and a tenant were fighting over past due rent when the tenant pulled out a knife and attacked him.

Chinquapin Park

Larceny Other:  5900 block of York Road, 1:30 p.m., Dec. 9. A cellphone was stolen from the Exxon bathroom. 


Burglary Residential: 3500 block of Chestnut Avenue, between 4 p.m., Dec. 10 and 10 a.m., Dec. 11. Saws and copper fitting were stolen from a vacant room.

Larceny from Auto: 1200 block of Union Avenue, between 6 p.m., Dec. 10 and 7:30 a.m., Dec. 11. A Garmin GPS and an MP3 player were stolen from a 2009 Subaru after its window was broken with a rock.

Lake Walker

Larceny from Auto: 600 block of Gittings Avenue, 5 p.m., Dec. 10. A purse with identification, $40 and a bankcard were stolen from an unlocked 2009 Subaru.  

Mount Washington

Larceny from Auto: 5700 block of Pimlico Road, 7:55 p.m., Dec. 9. A book bag and schools supplies were stolen from a black 1995 Jeep Cherokee.

Pen Lucy

Stolen Auto: 500 block Wyanoke Avenue, between 6:30 and 11:16 p.m., Dec. 9. A gray 2003 Pontiac Viole was stolen.


Stolen Auto: 2700 block of Hampden Avenue, between 6 p.m., Dec. 9 and 11 a.m., Dec. 10. A green 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 was stolen.

Roland Park

Larceny Other: 4600 block of Falls Road, 7 p.m., Dec. 10. A woman left her wallet on the counter of the CVS and it was stolen.


Burglary Residential: 3500 block of Greenmount Avenue, between 1:30 and 4 p.m., Dec. 9. A burglar broke into the home through a front window and stole two Apple MacBooks, a Dewalt Cordless drill and a BB rifle.

Burglary Residential: 600 block of E. 35th Street, between 6:45 a.m., and 3:15 p.m., Dec. 12. A burglar broke a window with a rock and stole a tape player and a MacBook. The resident’s cat also escaped.

Wilson Park

Burglary Commercial: 4300 block of Old York Road, between 8 p.m., Dec. 9 and 8:45 a.m., Dec. 10. A burglar pulled out a window air conditioning unit and ransacked the premises.
