North Baltimore Crime: Vehicles Popular Target of Thieves

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary Residential: 300 block Ilchester Avenue, between 3:15 and 6:51 p.m., Feb. 14. A burglar forced open a window and stole two televisions and a Wii game system.

Larceny from Auto: 2800 block Greenmount Avenue, 3:40 p.m. Feb. 14. A cell phone, wallet and various papers were stolen from an unlocked Chevy.

Remington

Stolen Auto: 2700 block Sisson Street, between 11:10 p.m. Feb. 12 and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The owner of the vehicle lost his car keys and the vehicle was also unlocked.

Attempted Stolen Auto: 3100 block Remington Avenue, between 2 p.m. Feb. 16 and 12:15 p.m. Feb. 18.  Someone attempted to steal a 1995 Buick Lesabre.

Medfield

Larceny from Auto: 1400 block N. Weldon Place, between 10 a.m. Feb. 12 and 8 a.m. Feb. 13. An iPad, cell phones and a television were taken from a 2011 Toyota.

Charles Village

Larceny from Auto: 3000 block N. Charles Street, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 14. The window of a 2009 Chevy was smashed and a handicap placard was stolen.

Burglary Residential: Unit block E. 31st Street, between 6 p.m. Feb. 14 and 9:40 a.m. Feb. 15.  A burglar entered the home by forcing the rear door open and stealing a video game system, various video games and a DVD player.

Larceny from Auto: 2700 block N. Calvert Street, between 2 and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The window of a 2007 Honda was busted out and a Garmin GPS stolen.

Hampden

Larceny from Auto: 3800 block Falls Road between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16. A purse, driver’s license and check book were stolen from a 2007 Jeep Liberty.

Attempted Larceny from Auto: 800 block S. Darby Street, 9:50 p.m. Feb. 18.  No property was taken from an unlocked 2006 Toyota.

Sabina-Mattfeldt

Larceny from Auto: 1300 block Asbury Road, between 6 p.m. Feb. 17 and 10 a.m. Feb. 18. A Garmin GPS was stolen from an unlocked 2011 Honda.

Oakenshawe

Burglary Commercial: 3400 block of Greenmount Avenue, between 7 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 9: 35 a.m. on Feb. 18. A front window was busted out of the front of Topp Kitty and two handbags were stolen.

Wyman Park

Attempted Stolen Auto:  Someone tried to steal a 2002 Honda scooter.
