North Baltimore Crime: Woman Robbed at Gunpoint on Guilford Avenue

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Armed Robbery: 2800 block Guilford Avenue, at 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 22. A woman was walking when a robber approached her, pulled out a handgun and demanded she handover her pocketbook. The robber took her purse and ran from the scene.

Burglary Residential: 3200 block N. Charles Street, at 5:50 a.m. on Feb. 20. A burglar entered the home through an unlocked window from the fire escape. When the owner confronted him he ran back out and down the fire escape. There was no property taken.

Larceny from Auto: 2500 block Maryland Avenue, at midnight on Feb. 21. A GPS and cash were stolen from a blue 2008 Ford Focus.

Larceny Shoplifting: 2500 block N. Charles Street, 1:43 p.m. on Feb. 20.  Someone walked into the CVS and took six tubes of toothpaste and left without paying.

Larceny: 3400 block N. Charles Street, between 11:45 p.m. Feb. 19 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 20. A man left a cell phone in a restaurant after eating a meal. When he returned the phone was gone. The cell phone company told police the phone was still being used in the area of S. Monroe Street.

Woodberry

Larceny from Locker: 3600 block Clipper Mill Road, between 3:40 and 6:50 p.m. on Feb. 19. Keys and a gym card were stolen from a locker.

Hampden

Burglary Residential: 3500 block Falls Road, between 5:50 and 6:50 p.m. on Feb. 19. A burglar forced open a window to enter the home but left without taking any property.

Stolen Auto: 700-block W. 36th Street, between 8 p.m. Feb. 21 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 22. A 2002 Honda Accord was stolen. 

Mid-Govans

Burglary Residential: 600 block Woodbourne Avenue, between 10 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. on Feb. 21. A burglar entered the home through a basement window and stole an S&W .40 caliber handgun, a magazine with 10 .40 caliber bullets, a laptop and a 32-inch flat screen television.

Waverly

Burglary Residential: 600-block Montpelier Street, between 7 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 20. A burglar entered a home using a keypad on the front door and stole various construction equipment such as saws, drills and nail guns.

Stolen Auto: 400 block Merryman’s Lane, at 11:35 a.m. on Feb. 21. A 1997 gold Saturn was stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 400 block E. 32nd Street, between midnight and 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 20. The vehicle’s window was smashed and a Guess purse with various credit cards was stolen.

Homeland

Stolen Auto: 5300 block York Road, at 9 p.m. on Feb 19. A silver 2004 Chevy Tahoe was stolen.

Wyman Park

Larceny from Auto: 600 block W. 33rd Street, at 3 p.m. on Feb. 20. A cell phone was stolen from a 1998 Plymouth Breeze.

Burglary: 100 block W. University Parkway, at 5: 27 p.m. on Feb. 23. Security saw someone break out a window and enter a building on campus. They detained the person who was later identified as a juvenile.
