North Baltimore Crime: Woman Robbed in Tuscany-Canterbury

Tuscany-Canterbury

Robbery Unarmed: 3900 block of Charles Street, 3 a.m. May 2. A woman was walking to a bus stop when a man approached and asked for a light. She handed him the lighter and when he handed it back, he forced her to the ground and she struck her head. After she regained her senses, she noticed her credit card, identification and cell phone were stolen.

Burglary Residential: 5400 block of Willomere Way, 10:55 p.m. April 30. A man was sitting in his home when he heard a noise in the dining room. When he went to investigate the sound, he saw a burglar trying to climb through the window. The burglar saw the homeowner and ran off.

Stolen Auto: 800 block of Wellington Street, between 7 p.m. May 2 and 3 p.m. May 3. A silver 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse was stolen.

Robbery Unarmed: 1400 block Union Avenue, 5 p.m. May 5. A man was standing in a parking lot when a robber approached him, punched him in the face and stole his cell phone.

Mount Washington 

Stolen Auto: 2000 block of South Road between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 3. A gray 1990 Buick Century was stolen.

Winston-Govans

Burglary Residential: 5200 block of York Road between 10 a.m. May 3 and 1:20 p.m. May 6. A burglar kicked in the front door and stole medication.

Hoes Heights

Stolen Auto: 1000 block of W. 41st Street, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 5. A yellow 2011 Kymco scooter was stolen.

Medfield

Burglary Residential: 4400 block of Laplata Avenue, 6:10 a.m. May 4 and 1:43 a.m. May 5. A burglar entered through the front door, ransacked the home and stole jewelry. 

Charles Village

Robbery Armed: 2600 block Maryland Avenue, 8:12 a.m. May 5. A man was walking to the grocery store when he was approached by two robbers who initially asked for some change. When the man refused, one of the robbers pulled out a black handgun and said “[expletive] give me your money.” The man handed over $95 in cash and the robbers ran east on 27th Street.

Larceny from Auto: unit block West 26th Street, between 8 p.m. May 1 and 12:50 a.m., May 2. The window of a 2005 Kia was broken and a TOMTOM GPS unit was stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 200 block of E. 27th Street, between 9:30 p.m. April 30 and 2:50 p.m. May 1. The window of a 2006 Nissan was pried open and a credit card and change were stolen.

Kernewood

Larceny from Auto: 4800 block of Crowson Avenue, between 7 p.m. May 3 and 7 a.m. May 4. Tools and an emergency kit were stolen from a 1994 Honda.

Mid-Govans

Burglary Residential: 5600 block of Ready Avenue, between 7 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. May 4. A burglar forced open a basement door and stole a laptop.

Roland Park

Burglary Residential: 5105 block Roland Avenue, between 6:50 and 7:10 p.m. May 3. A burglar entered through an unlocked rear door and stole various tools.

Homeland

Larceny from Auto: 300 block of Broxton Road, between 9:30 May 5 and 9 a.m. May 6. A cell phone and binoculars were stolen from an unlocked 2006 Honda.

Waverly

Larceny from Auto: 3300 block of Old York Road, between 7 p.m. April 29 and 8 p.m. April 30. A plastic window on a silver 2006 Scion XB was broken and a folder with the registration and insurance card was stolen.

Harwood

Burglary Residential: 300 block of Ilchester Avenue, at 12:20 a.m. May 1.  A burglar entered the residence through an unlocked basement door and stole an Xbox, PlayStation 3, video games and laptop computers.

Burglary Residential: 400 block of Whitridge Avenue between 4 p.m. May 4 and 10 a.m. May 5. A burglar forced open a basement window and stole copper wire.

Burglary Residential: 400 block of Whitridge Avenue, between 4 p.m. May 2 and 8:30 a.m. May 3. A burglar forced open a basement door and stole electrical wiring.

Burlgary Residential: 2700 block of Greenmount Avenue, between 7 a.m. May 2 and midnight May 3. A burglar broke in and stole a television.
