Men Found Shot on Bellona Avenue

Two men were reported shot in the 6000 block of Bellona Avenue.

(UPDATE) 9:28 a.m., Friday—Two men were reportedly found shot near the Rosebank and Homeland neighborhoods Thursday night in what police believe was a drug dispute.

According to Det. Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman, the victims were found shot in a car at about 10 p.m. Thursday in the 6000 block of Bellona Avenue.

The wounded men, one thought to be in his 20s and another in his 40s, were found in a gold Dodge, and are believed to have driven to that location after being shot.

He said each man was shot in the arm and was taken to an area hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Sgt. Anthony Smith, a police spokesman, said on Friday morning that detectives investigating the shooting believe it may be the result of a drug dispute.

Oh!! So that's what happened. Sitting on the front porch about that time when a police car went past, toward Northern Parkway. (In Govans) I may want to rethink sitting on my porch now...

@ IamGalyle. It said they may have drove there, not that they were shot there. Never let someone take something away from you. If you like sitting on your porch, it is your business. Hopefully, the people in your area will respect your right to sit on your porch and mind your business :).
