Police Searching for York Road Robbers

Two groups, some juveniles, are wanted in connection to a spate of robberies along York Road.

The Northern District police believe that two groups are responsible for a string of robberies along York Road.

Deputy Maj. Richard Worley, the Northern District's second in command, told the York Road Partnership police have a lead, and that one of the groups of robbers is comprised of juveniles, according to the Baltimore Messnger.

Last month Patch reported on a in Cedarcroft, Rosebank and Lake Evesham, usually peaceful neighborhoods in the York Road corridor.

Just this past week police in 6100 block of Ready Avenue, just off York Road, where a group of robbers approached a man, and one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded property.
