Report: Man Who Hit Hopkins Student Sentenced

Man gets 13 years for fatal hit and run.

According to a report from WBAL TV, the Howard County man responsible for the hit-and-run death of a 20-year-old Johns Hopkins University student recieved 13 years in prison Wednesday.

Thomas Meighan Jr., of Elkridge, was sentenced for the October 2009 death of Miriam Frankl. In 2009 Meighan ran down Frankl on St. Paul Street, not far from JHU's Homewood Campus.
