Robber Steals $265 Worth of Cigarettes

The robber snatched the merchandise from behind the counter of the Charles Village CVS.

A robber struggled with an employee of the Charles Village CVS and stole four cartons of cigarettes.

According to Baltimore police, at 8:47 a.m., on July 19, a robber walked into the CVS, located at 2504 N. Charles St., and requested four cartons of Newport cigarettes.  

At that point the robber went behind the counter and tried to steal the merchandise.

A struggle between the robber and the employee ensued, but the robber was able to grab the cartons of cigarettes—valued at $265—and ran out of the store.

The crime lab was called to the store and processed the scene.
