Schoolmates Threaten to Burn Girl

Two juveniles were reportedly carrying a gas can and matches at the time.

Two juveniles allegedly threatened to set a schoolmate on fire.

According to Baltimore police, at 5 p.m., April 28 a girl was playing at the playground at Hampden Elementary School when two schoolmates approached her carry a gas can and matches.

"We are going to set you on fire and turn you white," one of the suspects allegedly told the girl.

After making that statement the suspects then ran away from the playground.

A police spokesman said Baltimore City School Police Department is handling a follow up investigation.
