Woman Finds Burglar in Bedroom: Towson Police Blotter

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information.

Four burglaries were reported over the weekend in Towson, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Two garages were burglarized in the same block of Charlesbrooke Road and two residences were broken into on the same block of York Road.

Garage Burglar Takes Omaha Steaks, Golf Clubs

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, a burglar got into a garage in the 100 block of Charlesbrooke Road and ransacked two vehicles.

In another incident on the same block, a purse, golf clubs and box of Omaha Steaks were stolen from a garage between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, someone entered the garage through an unlocked door and stole a bag of golf clubs and a box of Omaha steaks. The burglar(s) also broke a car window and took a purse from a vehicle parked in the garage.

Resident Finds Burglar in Bedroom

At 1:48 a.m. on Saturday, a woman arrived home to her residence in the 8000 block of York Road and heard noises coming from a back bedroom. When she checked, she saw someone who then fled the premises. The person had broken a window to enter the home.

Between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday, furniture and jewelry were stolen from a residence in the 8000 block of York Road. The suspect(s) broke a bedroom window to get inside.

She should have had a gun and knew how to use it. This is getting ridiculous! Maybe someone will come home to a burglary in process and have the same fate as the woman in Patterson Park who was beaten to death by her 14 and 16 yr old robbers! We need to start defending ourselves!!!

@ pam you may be right but I'm not one to have one myself. I know I'm not suited for it but, won't deprive those that are. Still she could have left as the safest option, and it seems they didn't know she was there.
