Woman Carjacked in Homeland

An armed man forced her out of the car and drove off headed south on York Road.

A woman was carjacked by an armed man in broad daylight in Homeland.

The woman was sitting in her car in the 400 block of Tunbridge Road, at 12:37 p.m., last Wednesday when a man brandishing a silver revolver approached her car and opened the door.

He then told the woman to "get the [expletive] out of the car."

She then got out of the vehicle and ran west to get help.

He the took the 2011 Hyundai and drove south on York Road.
