Woman Found Burned, Dead Outside Her Home in Nottingham: Officials

Baltimore County officials said they are continuing to investigate the fire.

A 52-year-old Nottingham woman has been pronounced dead after being discovered with burn injuries on the front porch of her home, according to a statement from Baltimore County Police and Fire.

At 3:38 a.m. on Monday, police and fire officials responded to the 4400 block of Pintail Court for a reported fire, the statement said.

A caller had alerted authorities that a person was on fire at 3:37 a.m., according to ABC 2 News, which reported the victim was dead when crews arrived.

Nana Aqua Boateng, 52, was found on the front porch of her home with burn injuries, Baltimore County Police and Fire reported.

ABC 2 News said the woman's family was home at the time.

Boateng's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, the report from Baltimore County said.

The fire remains under investigation, officials reported.
