Woman Nearly Drinks Gasoline Spiked Water

A woman alleged her niece tried to make her ill by putting gasoline in her water.

A woman nearly drank gasoline her niece allegedly poured in her drink.

According to a police report, at 1:30 p.m., on Sept. 9, a woman in the 4600 block of York Road was about to take a drink of water when she smelled gasoline.

The woman called police and told the an officer that her niece had poured the gasoline in her drink so that she would become ill.

The responding officer arrested the niece and charged her with aggravated assault.
