Woman Robbed of Engagement Ring

The robber approached the woman asking for a cigarette.

A woman was robbed of her jewelry while walking in Waverly.

According to Baltimore police, at 9 p.m. on Nov. 26, in the 3300 block of Westerwald Avenue, a woman was walking when a man approached her and asked for a cigarette.

The woman told him that she didn’t smoke, and the robber then ripped off her gold necklace.

The robber also took the woman’s engagement ring, cellphone and a watch.
