Woman Robbed of Purse at Gunpoint in Waverly

The robber stole the woman's purse that had her cigarettes and day planer.

A woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in Waverly.

According to Baltimore police, at 6 a.m., Thursday a woman was walking in the 3300 block for Westerwald Ave. when a robber approached her.

The robber was carrying a dark colored object the woman believed was a gun.

The robber told the woman to "give it up" and she told him she did have anything and threw her purse at him.

The man then took the purse and ran off headed east on Venable Avenue.
