City Annouces Christmas Tree Mulch Dates

The city will also provide curbside pick-up for residents throughout January.

The Baltimore Department of Public Works has announced its schedule for curbside Christmas tree pick-up and mulching.

Tree mulching services will be offered at the Reedbird Avenue Citizen Convenience Center, 701 Reedbird Ave., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on every Saturday and Sunday in January, according to a news release from the Department of Public Works.

The city is also encouraging residents and community groups to bags and containers to the center to collect the free mulch.

Residents that cannot bring their tree to the center for mulching may leave their trees out on their regularly scheduled trash collection day in the usually spot between Jan. 2 and Jan. 31 for collection.

All decorations must be removed prior to mulching or collection.
