Ivymount Apartments Receive $1.4M Water Bill

Incorrect water bills have been plaguing the city and customers.

Issues with water bills keep coming to light in Baltimore.

The, in Mount Washington, were charged $1.4 million, more than 100 times its normal rate, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Problems with charges for water in Baltimore have become a controversial topic since it was revealed 38,000 customers in the city and county were over billed.

City Council President Bernard C. "Jack" Young on the tax sale of houses because of unpaid water bills after the errors came to light.

However, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has opposed that plan because it takes away some of the city's leverage to get customers to pay water bills. The administration maintains that it is working to correct any incorrect bills.
