Mayor to Address A.C.C.E. Graduates

Academy of College and Career Exploration to graduate its fourth class since opening in 2004.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is scheduled to speak at the graduation ceremony for the Hampden-based Academy of College and Career Exploration on June 4.

The mayor is set to address the 94 seniors who make up the fourth class to graduate from the school since it opened in 2004 with its inaugural group of ninth grade students.

Commencement is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Johns Hopkins University's Shriver Hall.

A.C.C.E. focuses on preparing students for post-secondary education and is run in partnership between Baltimore City Public Schools, the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Policy Studies.
