The Department of Public works released a list of closures and collection cancellations on Election Day on Tuesday:
- Trash and recycling will not be collected.
- Saturday, November 10, 2012 will be the make up collection day for trash and recycling in those ares that are regularly scheduled for collection on Tuesday.
- No bulk trash collections are scheduled
- Citizen drop-off centers will be closed (all yards including Quarantine Road Landfill, the Northwest Transfer Station and the Eastern, Western and Northwest Collections Facilities).
- Parking meters will be in effect.
