The long presidential campaign is entering the home stretch, and Republican nominee former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will try to make his case against President Barack Obama.
The first debate between these two candidates—former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson is running as the Libertarian Party nominee and Green Party candidate Jill Stein are also running—will be held at 9 p.m. Wednesday in Denver, CO.
According to Nate Silver’s 538 blog at New York Times, Obama has an 84.7 percent of winning the election on Nov. 6.
But conservatives are hopeful a strong showing by Romney will help swing the election back in their favor as they try to take back the White House.
The debates have provided many memorable moments, from former President Ronald Reagan’s "There he goes again" zinger against former President Jimmy Carter, to former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis’ death penalty gaffe and Sen. John McCain referring to Obama as "that one."
