Building a Better Credit Report

The way we manage our credit and debt affects how much we pay for credit (i.e. interest rates), our ability to be qualified for more credit, and even employment opportunities and how much we pay for car insurance.
By attending this class, you will learn how to:-Explain why credit scores change in relationship to spending and payment habits-Define the content of a credit report, and-Describe the impact of a positive or negative credit report and score

CCCS of MD and DE (Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Maryland and Delaware, Inc.) was founded in 1966 to “promote economic self-sufficiency to individuals, families and communities through financial literacy education and counseling.” This not-for-profit agency promotes the wise use of credit through confidential budget counseling, debt management repayment program, and community education. Additionally, CCCS of MD & DE provides free financial counseling through the Maryland Money Helpline (1-877-254-1097).
