How to Establish & Manage Credit (Part of the "Money Matters" Series)

The way we manage our credit and debt affects how much we pay for credit (i.e. interest rates), our ability to be qualified for more credit, and even employment opportunities and how much we pay for car insurance.

By attending this class, you will learn the basics of credit, including:
-Credit reporting (where do you access your report? what information is included on your report?)
-Credit scoring (what is a credit score? 3 things you need to know about requesting a credit score), and
-Managing your credit (how do you establish credit? how do you build a favorable credit history?).

Please join us for the complete series of personal finance classes covering: goal setting, bank products and services, budgeting, credit reports, credit history and credit cards. Classes take place every Wednesday (except 03/23/2011) from 6:00PM to 8:00PM through May 4, 2011.

This class is provided by:
The University of Baltimore, www.ubalt.edu (in partnership with the Maryland CASH Campaign, www.mdcash.org).
