How to Make the Most of Your Credit Card (Part of the "Money Matters" Series)

The way we manage our credit and debt affects how much we pay for credit (i.e. interest rates), our ability to be qualified for more credit, and even employment opportunities and how much we pay for car insurance.

 

By attending this class, you will learn the specific information to make the most of credit card accounts, including:
-How the Credit CARD Act of 2009 affects card-carrying customers
-Tips on selecting a credit card (unsecured, secured, and rewards cards)
-Similarities and differences between debit and credit cards, and
-Understanding your credit card statement.

Please join us for the complete series of personal finance classes covering: goal setting, bank products and services, budgeting, credit reports, credit history and credit cards. Classes take place every Wednesday (except 03/23/2011) from 6:00PM to 7:30PM through May 4, 2011.
