Laying the Foundations of an Ecological Future:
New Cosmology; New Perspectives

Loyola University Maryland welcomes Sr. Miriam Therese MacGillis, O.P., co-founder of the Genesis Farm and member of the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, N.J., to present “Laying the Foundations of an Ecological Future:
New Cosmology; New Perspectives.” Sr. MacGillis will discuss the theology behind the relationships communities have with their food sources and how those relationships affect the health of communities and the earth. After Sr. MacGillis’ presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with local groups that participate in and advocate for sustainable food production. The event is free and open to the public and will take place in McGuire Hall on the Loyola's North Charles Street campus.
