Neighbors Helping Neighbors Training
Are you ready if an emergency strikes?
Be prepared, not scared. Take advantage of a six-week workshop that provides free, informative training sessions that will teach you how to help yourself, your family and your neighbors. Classes take place for 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings, beginning May 10th - June 14th.
Participants must attend all training sessions to be eligible for certification in CPR and First Aid during the final 2 classes.

Class Topics include:
Week 1: Emergency Preparedness, Natural and Technological Awareness, and Assisting Individuals with Disabilities.

Week 2: Volunteer Mobilization Training (VMC) Training for individuals to assist at central locations in their community in the event of a disaster.
Week 3: Crime Prevention and Awareness
Week 4: Fire Safety and Extinguishers
Week 5: First Aid Certification
Week 6: CPR Certification
