M. Cathleen Kaveny, J.D., Ph.D., the John P. Murphy Foundation Professor of Law and professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame Law School, will deliver the 2012 Commitment to Justice Lecture on “Prophecy, Civility & Truth: A Reflection on the Upcoming Election.” Kaveny is a trustee at Loyola University Maryland, author of nearly 100 articles and essays, and author of the forthcoming book Law’s Virtues: Fostering Autonomy and Solidarity in American Society.
