Gilman Urges Sports Fans to Carpool
The school is anticipating several thousand fans to attend varsity football and varsity soccer games against MIAA rivals.
has issued a "carpool traffic alert" on its website because it’s expecting large crowds to attend important games at the school on Friday afternoon.
The school is expecting several thousand people to attend a varsity soccer game against McDonogh School at 2:15 p.m., and a varsity football game at 2:30 p.m. against Calvert Hall, according to an alert from the school.
The alert from Headmaster John Schmick encouraged fans attending the games to carpool.

Gilman is located near the intersection of Northern Parkway and Roland Avenue and has limited parking.
