The Mount Washington School Continues to Compete for $50,000

First grade students at the school want you to vote to help them win the cash prize for the Power a Bright Future contest.

The Mount Washington School is competing for $50,000 to improve play spaces at the school, add computers and resources for its International Baccalaureate program.

To win the prize the school must finish first in its category and is currently No. 24.

Residents are asked to support the school by voting online or text 2366pbf to the number 95248.

Supporters must be at least 13 years old and may vote twice in a 24 hour period.

Voting runs until Dec. 19.
