The logo for the 139th Preakness Stakes, featuring three galloping horses, was released on Tuesday.
"This year’s logo is all about the speed and excitement of the race,” Bob Leffler, president of the Leffler Agency, which designed the logo, said in a news release.
The Preakness Stakes, the biggest horse race in Maryland, will be held on May 17 this year at Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course.

Tickets for the race went on sale Oct. 1.
