Stadium Place Community Football Festival

GEDCO and the Y of Central Maryland have teamed up to host The Stadium Place Community Football Festival at the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Family Center Y on Sunday, September 25, 2011.  Spectators will watch the Ravens away game against the Rams on a jumbo screen, as well as enjoy various activities throughout the day.

From 12:00 p.m. until game time at 4:00 p.m., there will be field games for all ages, prizes, face painting, a moonbounce and sno-cones. At 4:00 p.m. the game will be displayed on a jumbo screen for all to enjoy.  A beer garden and food and community vendors will be at the event from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to bring food and chairs for watching the game, or enjoy a reserved tailgating space for only $10 which allows parking, grilling, and fun with your fellow tailgaters! 

Proceeds from tailgate reservations enable GEDCO to assist families who receive food, emergency financial aid, and employment help from CARES.  Proceeds also benefit the Y of Central Maryland Safe Place for Kids campaign, providing Y experiences to families, kids, and individuals who couldn’t otherwise afford them.
