Lacrosse: Western Girls, Poly Boys Top Seeds
Western's girls team and Poly's boys team are top seeds in the state playoffs, which open this week.
Varsity teams from Western and Polytechnic high schools are in the mix for this year's state lacrosse playoffs
Western, the second-seed in the 4A-3A South girls bracket, earned a bye and will host the winner of Perry Hall's Wednesday match against Glen Burnie on Friday.
Poly's top-seeded boys team earned a bye and will face the winner of Kenwood's Wednesday match against Catonsville at home on Friday. Poly's eighth-seeded girls team hosts Kenwood in their first round match on Wednesday, then the winner will travel to top-seeded Catonsville.
