1) If you are interested in a very innovative and effective approach to learning.  I highly recommend the Zen Guitar Method.  It's located at Fells Point Studios in Fells Point, Baltimore.  Beginners and Advanced students are welcome.  They offer a very thorough and step by step approach to mastering the guitar from the basics on up to advanced techniques.
