I felt compelled to write a review for the Bikram Yoga Studio in Hampden, Baltimore, because I have absolutely fallen in love with this style of yoga, the studio and the teachers.
Prior to doing Bikram Yoga, I was never very turned on by the idea of breaking a sweat & yoga combined, but I had heard so many good things about it from friends and local folks, in particular, they spoke very highly of the studio. So, one day I was out for a stroll in charming Hampden and decided to walk into the studio, convinced that this is really not my thing and that I just wanted to check it out. Well, was I wrong. As soon as I walked in my eyes were delighted. The studio at a first glance was very charming, with an open layout and very clean. Immediately, I was greeted by a staff member with a great big smile who proceeded to show me around while giving me a comprehensive explanation of what Bikram Yoga is and the benefits associated with this style of yoga. All that combined started to spark a lot of interest in me. Then she told me about a special deal they have for beginners - $33.00 for a full month of unlimited classes.
