Roger, you need to up your meds, pal. ILLEGAL aliens are by definition in this country ILLEGALLY,Read More and are therefore criminals from the start. What other criminals do we supply with subsidized housing, healthcare, and etc.? All these services can be provided within the prison system, without the need to spend $6000.00 a month to care for people who under all state and federal laws, if enforced, should be shipped back to their homelands. We've seen some of these "Children", with the gang tats and the gang attitude, only here to start up another gang cell so they can have a base for future criminal activities. Look at the crime stats following these "children" wherever they get placed, then go thank the Dems that run the state for bringing 3rd world folks in here to take over what used to be good neighborhoods. House them at the State House or the Governor's mansion, if those people are so hot to have them here.

Any and all illegals should be sent back. And these children aren't 2yo..they are almost adults hereRead More but are considered adults back home. Their lifestyle was war and gangs; you cant stick them somewhere and disappear. Omalley is gov. of MD and has driven us into the poor house w all his new and increased taxes and fee's; as well as lead to get illegals driving licenses, free college ed., health care, etc.. He did to get the spanish / cuban/ mexican votes to be gov..and now he wants to be president. If he gets in, we will all fall. This whole issue pisses me off! I lost my nursing lic. C my better half owed a little tax money to the state yet my taxes were pd. I couldnt afford healthcare after losing my career to the stupid punish the whole family greedy state law. When my grandson parents died when he was age 4yo, I looked for help to get counseling for grief and traumatic stress and not one so called non profit organization would help or even offer a discounted rate...and the so call child psychiatrists and therapist either lied and said they dont accept his age, they are retiring, or didnt return my call when I mentioned no insurance coverage. So it tics me off to see illegals receiving what I state and feds wont give to even our smallest Americans. This country will go down if the pattern of tax the citizens to house, feed, insure, educate, etc the illegals who Dont pay tax...and those that work are under the table and taking jobs away from the home remodeling/ contracting industry.

I feel for these kids but we can not afford to subsidize every misfortunate child from a 3rd worldRead More country. At some point, you have to start turning them away.

Open carry laws in some states provides more comfort for gun owners. But is Target's move an effort to protect everyone else?
David Montgomery July 8, 2014 at 10:08 pm
My biggest dilemma everyday is deciding which one to carry: my 9, 40 or 45.
David Brown July 9, 2014 at 07:20 am
David, my brother, please make sure you don't bring any of them into Target or Chipotle.=)
Dog Face July 11, 2014 at 04:35 pm
Well, making Target stores into "gun free zones" is having predictable results. Thugs nowRead More know that Target is a place to find plenty of unarmed victims, and customers are paying the price. http://www.wnd.com/2014/07/armed-robbers-shopping-for-victims-at-target/

Tons more kids get killed by cars hitting them than they do from burning up inside one. Why isn'tRead More anyone freaking over that? This happens, but it's not like there are a hundred thousand children cooking in cars every year.

Sorry, I never, EVER, left my child in my car. Never. I was and am a mom. My son is now 22 yo.Read More NO EXCUSE. I've never left a pet either, much less my child. Are these people sitting on their brains? Guess so.

Its a rough world out there and people forget. It looks like the Atlanta guy may have something moreRead More than meets the eye going on with his case. I certainly hope not but that's what the cops are hinting at. In the case of some of these people that go to bars or where ever and leave kids in cars they need to be dealt with harshly. However it seems like we have lost all ability in this country to make rational decisions case by case at every level of this government.

What a great idea! Our beagle mix was diagnosed with liver cancer last October but it was found byRead More mistake - so far it has not altered his 'good life' yet...he is 12 y.o. and is just starting to feel a bit 'stiff' when he rises from his bed. We are praying he will live out his 'normal' dog years before the cancer affects him. God Bless L.J.!!!!

This bucket-list thing has gone too far. When is the last time this kind of publicity was expendedRead More in the name of bettering the human condition in the Towson/Baltimore area (or even globally)? I love a dog and feel compassion for a dying one as much as the next person, and I feel for L.J., their owners and everyone who has become attached. There are many opportunities to help the homeless, starving children, or, if it needs to be a dog, a local animal shelter. And please, stop it with the news items about L.J.'s bucket list.

Deb maybe if you put things under a new section like news across Maryland it looks better then newsRead More around town. You see when people open up their local patch they assume news around town to be from their town.

The main problem I see in our State is ignorance of keeping the flow of traffic going . For one passRead More and get the hell out of the fast lane . People tend to get in the fast lane and drive side by side not allowing anyone to pass causing a bottle neck effect causing traffic to back up which in turn causes people like myself to get pissed and then once traffic backs up its open season on other road rage incidents. We need to have State Sponsored commercials that tell people what a right lane is for . Also with all of the computers we have is there no way to sink the traffic signals were you don't get one red light after another . I have noticed some lights in the city stay red and stop traffic on one side when there is not a car for miles on the other road and when one does finally get to the light that light turns red stopping that car . Do the people at the city traffic light division have a deal with the oil companies to make sure we waste as much fuel starting and stopping as possible. Also what is the deal with people slamming brakes at Green Lights great for Mechanic bad for your car and people behind you . Its time to get the hell out of the fast lane on I 95 at 55 MPH Pass and get the heck over people . I don't believe there are that many people who don't know this or maybe people are just plain rude and don't care about being courteous
