Update: Parkville Man Receives 2 Life Sentences for Murders of Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter

(Update 1:33 p.m.)—Parkville resident Brian Eggleston was sentenced on Wednesday to two consecutive life sentences with the possibility of parole in the shooting deaths of his pregnant girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter. "It was a senseless murder," said Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Mickey Norman, ahead of delivering Eggleston's sentence. Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker died from gunshot wounds to the head on June 24, 2011. Police discovered their bodies two days later at a Welcome Inn apartment, at 8729 Loch Bend Drive, where Alicia Avery lived through her involvement in the witness protection program in connection with a Baltimore City murder.
