Update: Parkville Man Receives 2 Life Sentences for Murders of Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter

Brian Eggleston pleaded guilty to charges related to the June 2011 incident in November 2012.

(Update 1:33 p.m.)—Parkville resident Brian Eggleston was sentenced on Wednesday to two consecutive life sentences with the possibility of parole in the shooting deaths of his pregnant girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter.  "It was a senseless murder," said Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Mickey Norman, ahead of delivering Eggleston's sentence. Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker died from gunshot wounds to the head on June 24, 2011. Police discovered their bodies two days later at a Welcome Inn apartment, at 8729 Loch Bend Drive, where Alicia Avery lived through her involvement in the witness protection program in connection with a Baltimore City murder. Man Who Killed Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter To Be Sentenced Wednesday

A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the June 2011 shooting deaths of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter will be sentenced Wednesday. Brian Eggleston, a Parkville resident, admitted to the murders on Nov. 26, 2012, according to a news release from Baltimore County's state's attorney's office. He will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Circuit County. Police discovered the bodies of Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker on June 26, 2011 in a room at Welcome Inn, 8729 Loch Bend Drive. Both suffered gun shot wounds to the head. Police said they were killed on June 24, 2011. Charging documents showed that the couple had a history of arguments. Baltimore City Police had placed Avery at the Welcome Inn …
