The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for central Maryland, the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay, northern Virginia and D.C. Snow will start falling overnight Friday through late Saturday afternoon in Baltimore, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Approximately 2 to 4 inches will accumulate, the report said. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Baltimore-Washington area—including Harford, northern Baltimore, southern Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick—from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. A winter weather advisory means that snow-covered roads and limited visibilities may make travel difficult.
