Obama and Family To Attend TU Basketball Game

Actor Bill Murray is also expected to be in attendance.

President Barack Obama and his family will attend a Saturday basketball game at Towson University, the school announced Friday. The Obamas will be at the Towson Center Arena to watch the Towson Tigers men's basketball team take on the Oregon State Beavers, coached by First Lady Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Robinson. The university encourages fans to arrive early for the game, due to the anticipated crowds and security measures. The gates to the Towson Center Arena will open at noon, and fans must be in their seats by 1:45 p.m. for the 2 p.m. tipoff. Loyola Player Again Named MAAC Rookie of Week

Freshman guard Justin Drummond is the second Greyhound player to win the award.

A Loyola University Maryland freshman has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rookie of the week for the second consecutive week. Justin Drummond became the first freshman to get the award in back-to-back weeks, Loyola officials said. He's also the first player to receive the award twice this season. During Wednesday's loss at Howard, Drummond scored 17 points while playing a career-high 26 minutes. He also had two rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal. In the Greyhounds' prior game against nationally ranked Georgetown University, Drummond scored 21 points, 20 of them in the second half. This marks the third time a Loyola player has won the award this year.  Freshman Dylon Cormier won it this season after scoring 20 points …
