Freshman guard Justin Drummond is the second Greyhound player to win the award.
A Loyola University Maryland freshman has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rookie of the week for the second consecutive week. Justin Drummond became the first freshman to get the award in back-to-back weeks, Loyola officials said. He's also the first player to receive the award twice this season. During Wednesday's loss at Howard, Drummond scored 17 points while playing a career-high 26 minutes. He also had two rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal.
