McCray Leaves Election Board To Seek State Legislature Seat

Cory McCray, who occasionally blogs about labor issue on Patch, announced he’s resigning his seat on the Baltimore City Board of Elections to pursue a seat in the House of Delegates in District 45. McCray announced his resignation from the board in a news release, and now must wait 30 days to officially begin his campaign. "Thank you for this opportunity to serve the people of Baltimore," McCray wrote in his resignation letter to Gov. Martin O’Malley. "My family and I look forward to assisting in the creation of a prosperous future for the city of Baltimore and the state of Maryland."
