Perry Hall Shooter Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder

Robert Gladden, 15, entered the plea in Baltimore County Circuit Court Tuesday.

(Update 2:06 p.m.)—A Baltimore County Circuit Court judge has accepted a guilty plea from a Perry Hall High School student who admitted to shooting a special needs schoolmate. Robert Gladden Jr., 15,  pleaded guilty to one count of attempted first-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a violent act before Circuit Court Judge Robert Cahill, Jr. The other 27 counts against Gladden were dropped. By entering a guilty plea, Gladden waived his right to a trial, which was scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. After 11 a.m., Baltimore County Assistant State's Attorney John Cox, Gladden's defense attorney George Psoras and Cahill discussed the terms of the plea agreement while Gladden's family members openly wept. DuClaw Brewing Moves To Rosedale

Owner Dave Benfield said that the brewery should be producing beer by mid-March, and be open to the general public sometime this summer.

For beer lovers on the east side of Baltimore County, finding a pint brewed close to home just got a lot easier. Long-time Harford County brewery DuClaw Brewing is in the process of moving their brewing and bottling plant from Abingdon to Rosedale, a process they hope will be complete by mid-March, according to owner Dave Benfield. The move will double the brewery's capacity, moving from a 10,000 square foot facility to a 60,000 square foot facility and allowing them to produce 14,000 barrels of beer in a year, up from 7,000, according to Benfield.
