Journal Entries Result in Eight Burglary Charges

Police say a 22-year-old Lutherville woman wrote about the Parkville and Cockeysville homes she allegedly burglarized.

For some, a journal is a place to keep their secrets but one Lutherville woman's journal entries resulted in eight burglary charges. Emily Kearns, 22, of the unit block of Elphin Court, is charged with a series of nine burglaries that span areas in both Cockeysville and Parkville precincts. Kearns was arrested on Dec. 4 when detectives, who were keeping her under surveillance, saw her break into a home in the unit block of Country Club Lane and attempt to break into a home in the unit block of Greentree Drive in the Phoenix area, according to police spokeswoman Cpl.
