Loyola Lacrosse Player Adam Pomper of Huntington Dies Tuesday
University, St. Anthony's teammates mourn the loss of 2012 national championship team member.
St. Anthony's graduate Adam Pomper, a freshman lacrosse player for the 2012 national champion Loyola Greyhounds, died Tuesday in Huntington. "The Loyola University Maryland community is mourning the loss of Adam Pomper, a member of the Class of 2015, who passed away June 12, 2012," said school officials in a press release Tuesday. A native of Huntington, Pomper was a student-athlete on the men’s lacrosse team and a communication major. A viewing will take place for Pomper on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, located at 934 New York Ave. in Huntington Station.
