Loyola Lacrosse Player Adam Pomper of Huntington Dies Tuesday
University, St. Anthony's teammates mourn the loss of 2012 national championship team member.
St. Anthony's graduate Adam Pomper, a freshman lacrosse player for the 2012 national champion Loyola Greyhounds, died Tuesday in Huntington. "The Loyola University Maryland community is mourning the loss of Adam Pomper, a member of the Class of 2015, who passed away June 12, 2012," said school officials in a press release Tuesday. A native of Huntington, Pomper was a student-athlete on the men’s lacrosse team and a communication major. A viewing will take place for Pomper on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, located at 934 New York Ave. in Huntington Station. Adam was a good friend in high school, it was an honor to know him personally. There are details of cod but at the moment, the cause of death will not be publicly announced. Please respect the pomper family in this time of tragedy and keep them in your thoughts.   more ›
